Product questions

Questions about our kitchen worktop covers and boards?

Here are the most important details about sizes, materials, use and care.
Which sizes and appliances are compatible?

The two-piece wooden hob cover is suitable for many ceramic, glass-ceramic and induction hobs. Measure your hob and the available surrounding worktop space before selecting the size. Only use the cover after the hob has cooled completely.

How can the product be used?

Both panels can be used together to cover the entire hob or separately when only one side is needed. They can provide additional preparation space, be used as cutting surfaces or protect the cooled hob from scratches and everyday impacts.

Which wood types and finishes are available?

The panels are made from solid wood and are available in Wild Oak, Oak A/B Quality, Walnut, Cherry, Maple, Beech and Ash.

Both panels are selected and crafted to form a visually harmonious matching set. Natural differences in colour and grain make every set unique.

How do I clean and care for it?

Wipe the panels with a slightly damp cloth and dry them immediately. Do not place them in a dishwasher or leave them standing in water.

Re-oil the wood when the surface begins to look dry or matt. The optional Wood Care Set with Linseed Oil can be used to refresh the finish.

Where is the product made?

Each two-piece hob cover is handcrafted, carefully sanded and finished in our manufactory in Bavaria, Germany.

What are the dimensions?

Choose between 2 × 30 cm, 2 × 35 cm, 2 × 40 cm and 2 × 45 cm. The resulting total widths are approximately 60, 70, 80 or 90 cm.

The panels are available in depths of 53 or 58 cm and are approximately 2.5 cm thick.
